Phyllis Perkins and Bennie Keen were married July 12, 1960.
They have two children: Carmalita, married to Tom Shade, and Paul, married to Janet.
They have three grandchildren: Deyvn and Michael Keen, and Patrick Shade.
Bennie is retired from the Ford plant in Walton Hills and works part time for the Akron Board of Education. Phyllis is retired from KWA Industries.
In their spare time, Bennie enjoys golfing, while Phyllis enjoys having lunch with her sisters.
They attend IHM Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
The Cuyahoga Falls couple celebrated their 50th anniversary with a party at Guy's Party Center with close family and friends.
