Golf outing is Aug. 13

The Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce will host its 22nd annual golf outing Aug. 13 at Brookledge Golf Club, 1621 Bailey Road. Play will begin at 8 a.m. sharp with a shotgun start. The format is a four-person scramble format. A boxed snack will be served at 10 a.m. at the Clubhouse. A barbecue luncheon will take place at approximately 1 p.m. at the Pavilion located next door to Downview Sports Center.

Exclusive Hole Sponsorships are available at a cost of $100 for chamber members and $150 for non-members.

Sponsorship includes a hard plastic sign at the hole. Sponsors will have the opportunity to sit at the golf hole exclusively and pass out goodies to the golfers. Sponsors may also request a particular hole number if available.

Golf and the barbecue are $85 per person and includes: 18 holes of golf, greens fees, cart (shared), golf favors; driving range/putting and chipping greens; continental breakfast, lunch and dessert; participation in contest holes; registration for door prize drawings; and beverages all day (beer and soda). The barbecue is $30 per person. Each team will receive a free team photograph. Photos will be taken from 7:30 -10 a.m. at the clubhouse and will be given out at the 1 p.m. lunch at the Pavilion. A golf contest package is $40 per team. This includes two Mulligans for each person on the team. The team will also be included in the "Skins" contest.
