WorkTruck Transport, the recently launched AmeriFleet Co. created to fulfill the unique logistics needs of up-fitters and truck fleets, announces the appointment of Greg Snyder as dispatcher, client service representative. He will be based in the company's Cleveland office. Snyder, a Cuyahoga Falls resident, joins WorkTruck Transport from America's Body Co. (ABC) in Cleveland where he spent more than a decade in a variety of positions. Most recently, he was corporate purchasing manager and responsible for sourcing product, establishing and managing inventory levels, ordering for all seven of ABC's sites, vendor relations for suppliers of truck parts, lighting, truck bodies and lift gates, and customer relations with Ford, Chevrolet/GM, Dodge and Hiro. He also managed shipments of raw materials between divisions. Snyder began his career with ABC as a logistics/transportations coordinator. From there he had several positions including parts & service specialist, operations manager and Midwest purchasing manager. "Greg brings to WorkTruck Transport a wealth of experience in the logistics/transportation industry with special expertise in the trucking category," said Tim Fontana, vice president and general manager, WorkTruck Transport, an AmeriFleet Company. "He will be instrumental in helping to shape the future growth of WorkTruck Transport." AmeriFleet launched WorkTruck Transport in April 2010 to build on their experience in handling more than 50,000 vehicle logistics transactions annually for work truck customers and to further expand logistics services in the truck market.
