Falls firm wins awards

TRIAD Communications Inc., based in Cuyahoga Falls, was recently recognized as the state's top digital and interactive talent at the inaugural Ohio Interactive Awards.

TRIAD received three awards for GenerationsCVNP.org, Parkshares.org and the TRIAD interactive holiday card. In addition to the three awards, TRIAD was also honored as Interactive Agency of the Year. The awards were presented during a recognition ceremony at the Arena Grand Theatre in Columbus. Winners were chosen by a panel of marketing industry leaders who work with and represent some of the world's most recognizable brands and Fortune 500 companies. Entries were judged on strategy, execution and results.

Established in 1994, TRIAD, which employs 12 staff members, specializes in marketing and design; placement of print and electronic media for industrial, corporate and business-to-business companies; corporate identity, branding, packaging, Web sites, e-communications/commerce and interactive solutions, search engine optimization, and sales and marketing materials. TRIAD has won more than 100 awards in the advertising and marketing industries.

TRIAD was also presented with a Bronze District ADDY for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank's 2008 Annual Report, Just In Time. The annual report was selected from a field of more than 465 local ADDY winners from the Fifth District of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The Fifth District represents 11 professional advertising associations and 18 college chapters throughout Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.
