Summa Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls recently announced the appointment of James Angiulo as Director, Information Technology and Services.
In his role, Angiulo provides technical and managerial leadership to evolve the Information Technology (IT) strategy.
He also manages daily IT operations, including the design, planning, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility infrastructure including telecommunications, desktop and server support and network cabling and wiring.
Previous to this position, Angiulo served as the IT operations manager of then-Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, and as Systems Director of Telecommunications at Summa. He also spent 25 years with AT&T as a systems designer. Angiulo has a master of science in industrial engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from Boston University and a bachelor of science in engineering from The Ohio State University. He is also a certified professional in health information management systems (CPHIMS).

Kent Jr., D.O., CEO. "He will also be instrumental in preparing for the future of this technology and its impact on our mission of improving the health of the region."
