My thanks to our Village Council for protecting us (and our dogs) from other dogs. While I was concerned about our village allowing auxiliary police officers to carry guns and the subsequent liability to our village, they zeroed in on a much more important issue. Dogs biting other dogs must be stopped and I believe this ordinance will help prevent this. I now know why my Councilwoman, Carol Steiner, did not answer my e-mails or calls. She must have been deeply involved in this issue.
