ELEANOR E. SPISHAK

Eleanor E. Spishak, 75, died unexpectedly Feb. 11, 2010.
Born in Windber, Pa., she had been a Cuyahoga Falls resident since 1961. She was the secretary at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for many years, and remained active in the parish, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, R.C.I.A. team member, as well as a member of the Mother of Sorrows Choir.
Mrs. Spishak also worked as a volunteer with Catholic Social Services and worked in various capacities with the missions. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her generosity and strong faith.
Preceded in death by her parents Gino and Mary Leonardis, she is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leo; son, David Spishak; daughter Diane Cassidy; grandson, Ryan Cassidy; step-grandson Patrick Heaps; brother, Gino (Barbara) Leonardis; sister, Carol (Tom) Antonishak; numerous nieces and nephews, friends and fellow parishioners.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Ciriello and Carr Falls Chapel handled the arrangements.
