Grew up in Falls
Mary Griffith (nee Spenoso), 90, died on Feb. 28, 2010.
Born March 1, 1920 in Cuyahoga Falls, she grew up there in her younger years before moving to the Cleveland area, where she lived until her death.
Mrs. Griffith was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William, and her brother, Joseph Spenoso.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Blessed Trinity (formerly St. Martha) Catholic Church in Akron, Father Joe Werner officiating. Interment took place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. Donations in Mrs. Griffith's memory may be made to the I.H.M. Sisters, 610 W. Elm, Monroe, MI 48162 or Blessed Trinity Parish, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave., Akron 44310.
McGowan-Reid and Santos Chapel, an Anthony Funeral Home, was in charge of arrangements.
