Cuyahoga Falls -- A 45-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man is facing a pair of felony drug charges after he was arrested by police at an Oakwood Drive home March 5.

Keith A. Wohlford is charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony, and illegal manufacture of methamphetamine, a second-degree felony.

When reached by the Falls News-Press, Neil P. Agarwal, Wohlford's attorney, declined to comment on the case.

According to Falls Police Sgt. Perry Tabak, officers served a search warrant at a home in the 2800 block of Oakwood Drive at about 9 a.m. March 5.

"As the result of the search warrant, narcotics officers located chemicals for the manufacturing of methamphetamine," a police news release stated. "Numerous items were both seized and/or removed for disposal including but not limited to: Marijuana, multiple unknown pills, glassware, beakers, chemical gloves, propane tanks, tubing and hoses, acetone, salts, misc[ellaneous] papers, unknown powders, smoking devices, misc[ellaneous] [plastic bags] and packaging materials, [and a] digital scale."

Wohlford had an initial appearance in Stow Municipal Court March 5. He did not enter a plea on the charges and was scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Judge Lisa Coates March 12.

At press time March 11, Wohlford was in Summit County Jail on a $150,000, 10 percent bond, according to the Summit County Sheriff's Department Web site.
