Bunny hop at Quirk Everyone's favorite long-eared friend will be hopping by the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, March 27 for a special day of fun. This memorable children's event includes lunch, bunny games, special goodie bag, and a keepsake photo with the Easter Bunny. Event time is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; seating begins at 10:45. Registration for this event begins March 13 for residents and March 20 for non-residents. Cost is $10 for resident children 2 and above and $5 for resident adults. Non-resident pricing is $12 for children 2 and above and $5 for adults. Friday night Crop Club Do you love to scrapbook but don't have the time or space to work on them? Bring your "gear" and enjoy 4 feet of personal space and 4 hours of uninterrupted time to work on your projects. Light refreshments and a different make-n-take project are offered each month at the new Friday Night Crop Club. New to scrapbooking? For $10 purchase a paper album starter kit. Bring your pictures and use shared tools to begin an album. Join us at the Quirk Cultural Center from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. March 19. Fee is $4 resident/$5 nonresident, plus class fee of $10 per person made payable to Ashlyn Monroe. Registration fee due at sign ups and the class fee is due at class. Youth Art Experience Have kids take a break from TV and video games and learn different medium art techniques: painting, drawing, mural work, and more. Each week will be a different class. Ages 9 and up on Saturdays, March 20 to April 10. Ages 7-10 will be from 9 to 10 a.m. while ages 11 to 17 will be from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. Cost is $25 residents and $30 nonresidents which include instruction and supplies. Free Pops concert The Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department invites you to spend an evening with the Akron Pops Orchestra, under the direction of Kristan Crane March 25, 7:30 p.m. at the Quirk Center. Japanese Junk Food II The Japanese Junk Food II class is being offered March 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. You will learn to make several advanced Japanese snacks that are favorites among Americans. These snacks are easy, low cost and healthy. Instructor will demonstrate Yakisoba, Kinako, and more. Ages 16 and up. Class will be at the Quirk Center.
