BETH OYLER

Worked for Cuyahoga Falls City Schools

Beth Oyler, born March 20, 1917, died Feb. 7, 2010.

She was born in Scranton, Pa., and was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ of Cuyahoga Falls. She was a graduate of Akron South High School and worked as a cafeteria monitor for the Cuyahoga Falls Schools.

She was preceded in death by first husband, Clyde A. Sheppard; brother, Thomas Kaugher; and sister and brother-in-law, Olive and Ray Neal. She is survived by second husband, Robert Oyler; son, Clyde (Lynette) Sheppard; daughters, Dian (Dale) Harbach and Susan (Philip) Angelo; sister, Marion Lewis; grandchildren, Lisa (John) Platt, Darin (Tina) Sheppard, Aimee (Walter) Davis, Drew (Mary) Harbach, Dawn Harbach, Dene' (Scott) Pieper, Alicia Angelo (fiance, Brendan Hurst), P.J. (Laura) Angelo, and Christine Angelo; great-grandchildren, Sara, Emily, Tayler, Lauren, Jacob, Nick, Andrew, Diana, Julia, Brendan, Sydney and Kendal; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside interment took place at Greenlawn Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at Bethany United Church of Christ, the Rev. Stephen Gehlert officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 North Main St., P.O. Box 2090, Akron 44398-6153 or to Bethany United Church of Christ, 1235 Broad Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls 44223.
