AUDREY E. (PAWLAK) CARBONE
Grandmother of eight
Audrey E. Carbone, nee Pawlak, 83, died on Feb. 5, 2010.
Mrs. Carbone was born in Brimfield on March 30, 1926, to Elmer and May Adams. She graduated from Kent High School and then completed her Registered Nursing degree from the Akron University at St. Thomas Hospital. Mrs. Carbone had a passion for learning, enjoyed traveling, fishing with her husband, reading and continuing her registered nursing studies. Most of all, Audrey enjoyed her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Carbone; and her brother, Elmer Adams, Jr. Mrs. Carbone is survived by her daughter, Kathy Bliss; and three sons, Paul, Tim and Jeff Pawlak. She had eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service took place in the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, Fr. Thomas McCann officiating. Interment took place at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield.
McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
