Amanda (Mandy) Diane Carlson and Brian John Tomko were married June 7, 2009, in an outdoor ceremony at Roses Run Country Club in Stow.
Neil Brooks officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Carl and Frankie Carlson of Bridgeville, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of John Tomko of Munroe Falls and Vivian Tomko of Stow.
Colors featured in the wedding were celador green and sugar plum pink.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Alfred Angelo gown of white iridescent satin overlaid by embroidered lace with crystal bead accents. The dress featured lace beaded cap sleeves and a semi-cathedral train.
She carried a hand-tied pink and white bouquet of roses, lilies, callas, alstroemeria and stephanotis with green accents.
Florence Johnson of Fairfax, Va., friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Carlson of Bridgeville, Pa., sister of the bride; Jaime Tomko of Stow, sister of the bridegroom; and Sarah Ramsey of Akron, Evelyn Handel of Avon Lake and Rachel Smith of Mason, all friends of the bride.
Nick Shifer of Bucyrus, a friend of the bridegroom, was the best man. Craig Smith of Cuyahoga Falls, Michael Plahuta of Cuyahoga Falls and Doug Auxter of Munroe Falls, all friends of the bridegroom; and Michael Carlson of Erie, Pa., brother of the bride, were groomsmen.
The reception took place at Roses Run Country Club. The couple honeymooned in the Smokey Mountains/Gatlinburg, Tenn. area.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Oil City High School in Oil City, Pa. and a 2010 graduate of Ohio Northern University. She is completing clinical rotations for a Pharm D degree in May.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School and a 2009 graduate of Ohio Northern University. He is a computer engineer at NASA Glenn in Cleveland.
The couple resides in Cuyahoga Falls.
