The Cuyahoga Falls High School Choirs will present their Mid-Winter Concert on March 2. Vocal music selections will be performed by the Freshman Trebles, A Capella Choir, Advanced Women's Choir and the Advanced Chorus. Admission is free to the 7 p.m. concert which takes place at Cuyahoga Falls High School. CFHS Choral Director Jesse Lange described the Mid-Winter Concert as a "preview" of material the choirs will present on March 6 at the Ohio Music Education Association District 6 Regional Large Group Adjudicated Event.
The OMEA Large Group Event takes place at Copley High School March 5 and 6.
Three-thousand junior and senior high school students from across Northern Ohio will be judged on prepared music and sight reading of new music in hopes of advancing to the OMEA State-wide event on April 23.
