Karen E. Gorman died Feb. 4, 2010 at 64. She is survived by her children Daniel J. (Misty) Gorman, Frank L. (Becky) Gorman, Theresa M. (Charlie) Nopper, Brian M. (Shelley) Gorman and her 10 grandchildren with one on the way. She is survived by former husband Frank J. (Barbara) Gorman, her brother, Thomas R. (Jody) Bambas and sister, Jeanne Denton-Nelson and their families.
Mrs. Gorman worked 11 years as a Registered Nurse at Metro Health Hospital in Cleveland, then 11 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor in alcohol and drug treatment at Townhall II in Kent. She found friends and love in her work. In 1996 she was "saved" through best friends Susan and Dick Brown.
Inurnment took place in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to Horizon House, 5536 S. Prospect St., Ravenna 44266.
Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
