Cuyahoga Falls -- Police have suspects and are investigating a reported burglary in the 300 block of Erie Street. Two Falls men reported that two males, one armed with a rifle and the other with a knife, kicked in their door at midnight Feb. 17, came into their living room, and attempted to steal a 42-inch television. Both men fled on foot after one of the victims attacked the intruder carrying the gun. During the scuffle, the TV was broken, a $1,200 loss. One of the intruders was injured, police said. Theft Feb. 23 -- Was it ever fixed? A 54-year-old Akron man reported he took his snow blower to someone he knows in the 1800 block of Fourth Street to fix it and that person sold it between 1:35 p.m. Feb. 14 and 10 a.m. Feb. 15. Estimated loss was $100. Feb. 19 -- Tools taken. A resident of the 1700 block of 12th Street reported someone stole $1,158 worth of power tools from his residence between 2 p.m. Feb. 15 and 2 p.m. Feb. 16. Police say they have leads and a suspect. Assault Feb. 21 -- Woman injured. A Falls woman reported her ex-boyfriend punched her in the face and shoulder at 3:30 a.m. Feb. 19 in her residence. The woman had two small bruises on her left arm, police said. She was referred to the city prosecutor. Sexual imposition Feb. 21 -- No means no. A 25-year-old Falls woman reported a male friend continued to touch her in her private areas without her permission after she told him several times to stop. Police are investigating. Domestic violence Feb. 20 -- Man arrested. A 35-year-old Falls man was arrested and charged with domestic violence (threats) after his live-in girlfriend reported he threatened to kill her during a verbal altercation over personal matters. The woman signed a trespassing protection order, the report said. Underage consumption Feb. 17 -- Teens cited. Two Falls males, both 19, were arrested and charged with underage consumption of alcohol after they were found by police walking on Eighth Street at Roosevelt Avenue around 5 a.m. They were cited and released. Robbery Feb. 17 -- Pizza man accosted. An 18-year-old Stow man reported that while walking back to his vehicle after delivering a pizza on Beacon Hill around 7:45 p.m., two white males wearing black tackled him to the ground, took his wallet and fled on foot. He said he found his wallet nearby with nothing missing. The victim was unharmed, police said. The suspects were described as being 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall and having their faces covered. Drug abuse, open container Feb. 16 -- Traffic stop yields charges. A 28-year-old Kent man was arrested and charged with drug abuse, drug abuse instruments, drug paraphernalia and open container following a traffic stop for no license plate light at Graham and Bailey roads on Feb. 16 around 2:15 a.m. He was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine, hypodermic syringes, metal spoon, plastic straw and open can of beer, police said. Accidents Feb. 18 -- Three-car crash. A 22-year-old Akron woman was cited for assured clear distance ahead after a wreck at 4:30 p.m. Traveling west on Howe Avenue, she failed to stop in time for cars stopped at the entrance ramp of State Route 8 and struck the rear of a car being driven by a 45-year-old Kent man, according to the police report. The impact caused the Kent man's vehicle to hit the rear of an SUV being driven by a 37-year-old Akron woman. No one was injured, the report said. Feb. 17 -- Teenager transported. A 17-year-old Falls boy was taken to Summa Western Reserve Hospital with possible injuries following a crash at 1:35 p.m. The teen was pulling out of a gas station on Graham Road east of East Bath Road, the report said, when the SUV he was driving was struck on the left side by a westbound car being driven by a 22-year-old Akron woman. The woman was not hurt, according to the report. The boy was cited for failure to yield from a private drive.
