The library will host an American Red Cross blood drive in the Sutliff Meeting Room on March 1 from noon to 6 p.m. Please call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE to schedule an appointment. All blood types and walk-ins are welcome, schedule permitting. Anime Club Teens and young adults are invited to drop in and check out the Anime Club on March 3, 17 and 31 at 7 p.m. The club is viewing episodes of "Death Note" season 2. Hooked on Books This afternoon book club meets the first Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. The March 4 discussion will be on "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. Planting the seeds On March 4 at 6:30 p.m. join the members of the Leaf & Blossom Garden Club to plant veggie and flower seeds that will guarantee your growing success. Tangled art Participants in pre-requisite Zentangle Level 1 are instructed to bring their mini-kit from Level 1 to class on March 6 at 11:15 a.m. In this class you learn to experiment with color, shapes and preconceived ideas regarding the outcome of the piece you'll be making. Sunday matinee special On March 7 at 2 p.m. make plans to see the newly released "2012," starring John Cusack and Amanda Peet, an epic adventure about global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors. (PG-13) Books 101 This book club meets on the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. and focuses on the 101 greatest novels of all time. New members are always welcome. The March 8 discussion will be on "Henderson the Rain King" by Saul Bellow. Mediumship This program on March 9 at 7 p.m. is presented by SIGHT (Spiritual Insight Ghost Hunting Team). Laura Lyn Wissler, a psychic investigator, will cover how mediumship can help a paranormal investigative team discover stories from people who have died. Registration is requested (16 and older, please). Spring story times The spring session is March 15 through April 29. Registration, which starts March 6, is required for story times on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register in person before 3 p.m. or by phone after 3 p.m. ROCK-A-BYE TALES: Monday, Tuesday or Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Babies and toddlers ages 6 months to 2 years old. READ TO ME for 2's and 3's: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at 10:15. STORIES ALIVE for 4's and 5's: Monday at 11 a.m. or Thursday at 1:30. Enjoy this special story time for 4- and 5-year-olds accompanied by a caregiver. Saturday story place Children of all ages will enjoy "Samplers of Spring" on March 6 at 11 a.m. featuring stories, songs, finger plays, crafts and fun. Annual children's Pick up entry forms in the Children's Room beginning March 1. The contest is sponsored by The Poet's Nook. Submissions due by March 31. Prizes will be awarded in April, National Poetry Month. Located on the corner of Third Street and Broad Boulevard in Cuyahoga Falls, the library is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
