Chamber of Commerce hosts 'Night at the Races' Feb. 12

The Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Night at the Races Benefit for the Chamber Scholarship Program Feb. 12 at 6 p.m., at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, 2345 Fourth St. Call the Chamber offices at 330-929-6756 or e-mail info@cfchamber.com for more information. This event is open to the public.

Tickets are $20 per person, and includes buffet dinner, dessert, wine and beer. Reserved tables are available, horses are $25 for each pre-sale and $30 at the door. The buffet dinner will include food from Chick-fil-A, Donatos Pizza, Rocco's Pizza and Wing Warehouse.

There will be nine races with one auction race, lots of door prizes and fun. Race sponsorships and program ads still are open until Feb. 5. All ads must be e-mailed with payment to info@cfchamber.com in a jpg format. RSVP deadline for horses and tickets is Feb. 6. Proceeds from this event benefit the Cuyahoga Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation Inc. The purpose of the foundation is to encourage higher education and professional development by means of Chamber scholarships. In 2009 five scholarships were awarded of $1,000 each to graduating seniors who reside in Cuyahoga Falls and Silver Lake.
