VIRGINIA MULHOLLAND
Grandmother of nine
Virginia Mulholland, 82, died Dec. 30, 2009.
Mrs. Mulholland was born in Wapakoneta, and resided in Alliance for the past 25 years. She worked as a legal secretary for Geigert, Teeple, Smith and Hahn and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Wapakoneta. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, knitting/sewing and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by her husband Anthony, she is survived by her daughters, Tonia (Michael) Gallagher of Cortland, Ellen (Ward) Smith of Michigan, Jill Jackson of Paris, Texas; sons Greg (Debbie) and Richard of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter-in-law Jackie Mulholland of Mt. Vernon; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sister Marcia Walls; brothers Tom and Paul Rickert all of Wapakoneta; as well as her family of caregivers at Maison Aine of Stow.
A memorial service will take place at a later date in Wapakoneta. Inurnment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Wapakoneta. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1815 W. Market St., Suite 301, Akron 44313.
Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
