Security company marks anniversary
under new owner
SafeNet Security is marking its one-year anniversary under new ownership. Joshua Timko and Jay McNamara took over the company in December 2008.
To accommodate its growth, the business moved to a larger facility in Cuyahoga Falls located at 1405 Main St., relocating from Front Street where it was for 14 years.
Since opening their doors in 1997, SafeNet has served more than 10,000 clients, according to the company's press release. A Honeywell Security Dealer, the business will open another office in 2010. SafeNet provides commercial and residential alarm and fire detection systems, closed circuit television and video surveillance.
