Pet food drive runs through Dec. 12
As part of an international effort spearheaded by Pet Sitters International (PSI), the Hungry Bowl Pet Food Drive serves to collect pet food for local shelters.
Proceeds from this donation will go to the Humane Society of Greater Akron
The local Hungry Bowl Pet Food Drive is being co-hosted by Pet Care Plus, a pet-sitting and dog-walking service, and Camp Bow Wow, a doggie daycare and camping service.
The Humane Society of Greater Akron is in great need of pet food donations as it enters 2010.
Donations are being accepted through Dec. 12.
Donations can be dropped off at:
* Pet Supplies Plus, 3732 Darrow Rd, Stow;
* Acme Fresh Market, 116 W Streetsboro, Hudson;
* Camp Bow Wow, 1403 Main, Cuyahoga Falls;
* Hudson Hydrant, 72 N Main, Hudson
Please note to keep their pets diet consistent, the HSGA prefers Science Diet dog, cat, puppy or kitten foods, but will accept any brand of canned cat food.
