Cuyahoga Falls -- Police arrested Nov. 17 two 13-year-old Falls boys in connection with 16 cases that included arson, breaking and entering, theft, and criminal damaging within the city between Oct. 18 and 23. The arson case involved a car fire at 12th Street and Sackett Avenue Oct. 19, police said, that rendered a car valued at $500 a total loss. The blaze damaged another car parked nearby, police added. An amount of damage on the second car was not available. Police said the reports cleared by the two arrests were varied. Six or seven incidents connected to the boys involved graffiti spray-painted on vehicles and buildings. Each boy was charged with one count of arson, three counts of breaking and entering, four counts of theft and 10 counts of criminal damaging. The breaking and entering charges stemmed from three incidents in which the boys entered attached garages. The crimes were connected to the two boys through the investigation conducted by Falls police detectives. Several of the items that were stolen out of vehicles, including car radios and GPS units, were found for sale online by the people they were stolen from, police said. Disorderly conduct Nov. 22 -- Man hurt on stairs. A 22-year-old Akron man was cited with disorderly conduct after his friend reported the man was intoxicated and would not leave his home. The report said the Akron man had a facial injury from a fall down a flight of stairs which occurred while he was at the house. After being cited, he was taken to the hospital by the fire department. Theft Nov. 21 -- Belongings taken. A Cleveland man reported someone stole a gym bag from his unlocked car while it was parked on a car dealer's property in the 2400 block of Front Street at 6:45 p.m. The bag contained clothes, toiletries, blood pressure medicine and a men's 4.5-carat diamond ring. Total loss was $6,350. Nov. 19 -- Car window broken. A resident of the 400 block of Munroe Falls Avenue reported someone broke a window in her car and stole a cell phone and charger worth a total of $750. Nov. 18 -- Equipment stolen. A resident of the 2600 block of Oak Park Boulevard reported someone stole a gas-powered generator and air compressor off of his landscaping trailer while it was parked on his property. Loss was $4,450. Nov. 18 -- Bag, books and wallet. A Falls woman reported someone broke out the windows in the front and rear driver's side doors of her car while it was parked in the 2200 block of High Street between 9 p.m. Nov. 17 and 3 p.m. Nov. 18. A designer bag containing textbooks and a designer wallet containing credit cards were stolen. Estimated damage was $600; property loss was $228. Nov. 16 -- Firearms missing. A resident of the 1700 block of Chestnut Boulevard reported someone stole two 30.06 rifles and a 12-gauge shotgun from his house some time in the past four to five months. Loss was $3,000. Felonious assault Nov. 20 -- Man injured. A 28-year-old Falls woman was arrested and charged with felonious assault after her live-in boyfriend reported that while he was trying to leave their house through a first-floor window during an argument, the woman cut his hand with a kitchen knife. EMS was called, but the victim refused transport to a hospital, the report said. Assault Nov. 20 -- Attack alleged. A Falls woman and an Akron man reported they were assaulted at the Falls woman's residence by a man they know around 10 p.m. The female victim said she was punched in the face and kicked in the leg; the male victim said he was also punched in the face. Both declined medical attention, the report said. Police are investigating. Child enticement Nov. 17 -- Child approached. Police are investigating a report that a man walked up to a 6-year-old girl outside of Lincoln Elementary School, 3131 Bailey Road, at 3:30 p.m. and asked her if she wanted to go get ice cream. The department's school resource officer has met with the school administrator, police said.
