Cuyahoga Falls Police arrested two people on heroin possession charges July 1. The department's Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force at 2336 25th St. Police arrested a 25-year-old Falls man and charged him with possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, and possession of drug abuse instruments, a first-degree misdemeanor. Officers also arrested a 23-year-old Falls woman and charged her with possession of heroin and possession of drug abuse instruments, a second-degree misdemeanor. As a result of the search warrant, police said numerous items were seized from the residence including: marijuana, drug paraphernalia, hypodermic syringes, multiple plastic bags, smoking devices, multiple items with white powder residue, miscellaneous papers, digital camera and cell phones. Falls Police Sgt. Perry Tabak said the case is still under investigation and additional charges may be filed. Comments
