Eleanor Ruth Broadway, 86, died May 30, 2009 at her home in Daytona Beach, Fla. Mrs. Broadway was born on Jan. 15, 1923, in Akron to the late Otto and Nellie Wieland.
Mrs. Broadway is survived by her sons, William H. Heffner of Arizona and Gary Broadway of Munroe Falls; granddaughter, Caroline Heffner of North Carolina and many other family members and friends.
A graveside service was conducted in Northlawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Stephen Gehlert officiating. Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
