DONALD R. SLACK II

2007 Falls High graduate

Donald Ralph Slack II, 19 died suddenly on May 22, 2009.

Born in Berea on June 30, 1989, Mr. Slack had been a lifetime Cuyahoga Falls resident. He was a 2007 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He was currently employed by Cobra Plastics. He loved to play baseball and was part of school and rec teams for 15 years. He was also an excellent musician who played for the marching, orchestra, and jazz bands at Falls High. Mr. Slack was an accomplished saxophone player, but would learn to play any instrument that was needed in the school band.

He is survived by his mother Patricia (Joe Thomas) Slack of Cuyahoga Falls; brother Jonathan Slack and sister Danielle Slack, both of Cuyahoga Falls; grandparents Richard and Stella Gluszek of Middleburg Heights; great-grandmother Stella Wojtaszek of Berea; aunts and uncles Rick and Martha Gluszek of Middleburg Heights, Lynn and Russ Gory of Strongsville, and Sandi and Steve Borod of Middleburg Heights; close friend and "brother" Jeff Kuelling and close family friends Jeff and Sue Thomas, as well as many cousins and friends.

A funeral service took place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions in Mr. Slack's memory may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.

McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, an Anthony Funeral Home, was in charge of arrangements.
