DID YOU KNOW ... Cuyahoga Falls Library has a local history room. Books, photographs, yearbooks and other printed materials pertaining to the area are available in the Taylor Local History Room for individual research upon request. Located on the corner of Third Street and Broad Boulevard in Cuyahoga Falls, the library is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Sunday matinee On Feb. 8 at 2 p.m., make plans to see the newly released "The Secret Life of Bees" starring Jennifer Hudson, Sophie Okonedo, Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Paul Bettany and Dakota Fanning. Writers' workshop On Feb. 10 at 10 a.m., join Nancy Wilson and her group to learn more about getting published. Bring your ideas, writings, readings and critiques to share. 'Party of Nine' returns The Hanselmen sextuplets' mom, Jennifer Hanselman, will be here on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. to hear all the exciting details of her sextuplets. Copies of Jennifer's books will be available for signing and purchase after the program. 'This City Reads' Stop, Read, Report, Be Counted! Please join us on Feb. 11 as we participate in the sixth annual "This City Reads" Community Reading Day. Last year we counted 85,685 people reading at the same time in the Akron area. The Cuyahoga Falls Library will serve as an official reading site. Anyone who participates from another site in Cuyahoga Falls may call Joyce Bigam at the library to be counted on the day of the event. Reading Pledge Forms are available at the library. Homeopathy 101 Join Dr. Karin Cseak of Family Holistic Health on Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. for an informative look at different aspects of homeopathy. Basic crocheting Learn to crochet on Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. with Debbie Jacobs, "The Yarn Lady" of Pat Catan's. Bring medium weight, light-colored yarn and a size H crochet hook. Registration is required. Sunday matinee On Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. make plans to see the newly released "Nights in Rodanthe" starring Richard Gere, Diane Lane, Christopher Meloni. Saturday Story Place On Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. join us for this new monthly Saturday morning family storytime. Stories, songs, fingerplays, crafts and lots of fun!
