On May 21 the Woodridge Local Schools will present a concert at Blossom Music Center at 6:30 p.m. that will include all the Woodridge Schools Bands in grades five through 12.

The concert will feature the "Cuyahoga Valley Suite" by William Nemoyten, who last taught at Woodridge 40 years ago, and conducted the bands for 16 years.

Nemoyten left Woodridge to become the first full-time manager of the Akron Symphony. Nemoyten will conduct this along with the "Cuyahoga Valley Suite" at the May 21 program, which is free and open to the public. He is also the composer of the Woodridge Alma Mater. There will be an open house at the Peninsula Library on May 15 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for anyone who would like to visit with Nemoyten.

For more information, contact Woodridge Band Director Kyle Krstolic at 330-929-3191 or e-mail him at kkrstolic@woodridge.k12.oh.us.
