Steve Kariotis

Age: 51

Occupation: Owner of Max Muscle Sports Nutrition in the Merriman Valley.

How long have you lived in Cuyahoga Falls? I was born and raised here and have lived here most of my life.

How would you describe the Cuyahoga Falls area to someone who has never been here? A family-centric community with extraordinary indoor and outdoor recreational facilities.

What is your favorite activity in Cuyahoga Falls? The festivals on the mall.

Hobbies/Interests: Exercising, reading and sports.

What is the last book you read? "Power Play" by Joseph Finder.

What would you do if you were the mayor of Cuyahoga Falls for a day? If I was the mayor on Thursday, July 3, I would take the day off so I could work out at the Natatorium in the morning, swim at Water Works in the afternoon, and go to the Riverfront Centre in the evening to watch Pat Daly -- from the front row.

What is your biggest accomplishment? Completing the Marine Corps Marathon in less than four hours.

Whom do you most admire (excluding relatives)? Easy -- the men and women of the military and the safety forces.

Something most people don't know about me is: I once caught two foul balls during one Cleveland Indians game at Municipal Stadium against the Yankees.
