Cuyahoga Falls City Service Director Valerie Wax Carr announced a section of Portage Trail from Front Street to Fourth Street will be rebuilt beginning May 5, and last approximately seven to eight weeks. As part of the rebuild, the curbs will be removed and replaced and the street will be repaved. Construction will also include new drive aprons.
During this work traffic will be maintained, but may be reduced to one lane in each direction.
