THUMBS UP ... to Cuyahoga Falls City Councilman Don Walters for giving the public another chance to comment on the city's proposed purchase of the State Road Shopping Center.
On April 28, Walters will host a special meeting of the finance committee (which he chairs) on the matter, which Council may vote on later that night. Although the committee reviewed the issue April 21, Walters noted the public hadn't been informed the issue would be discussed that evening. Now, thanks to Walters, citizens will know about the discussion ahead of time, and can stop by the April 28 session at 6:30 p.m. at the Natatorium to hear about -- and offer input on -- a project that will significantly impact the city's future landscape.
