BETHIA H. BOYD
Member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church
Bethia H. Boyd (nee Nicol), 78, of Cuyahoga Falls died March 22, 2008 after a long illness.
Born in Akron, she was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church, A.A.R.P. #5038, the Friends of Children's Hospital and the Cuyahoga Falls chapter of Women of the Moose.
Past president of the Democratic Women of Ohio, she was named Summit County Democrat of the year in the late 1980s. Mrs. Boyd retired from the Summit County Title Department.
She is survived by her husband, John G. Boyd, to whom she was married for 53 years; brother, David H. (Sally) Nicol; and nephews, David and Mark Nicol.
Service was conducted at the Billow Falls Chapel, the Rev. Malcolm T. Hall officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Faith Fellowship Baptist Church or The American Lung Association.
