Grandview United Methodist Church Grandview United Methodist Church, 2315 Phelps Ave., has Sunday School Classes at 9:15 a.m. every Sunday morning. There are two adult classes, one younger adult class and four classes for children: one preschool, one elementary, one upper elementary and one teenage class. The church worship service is at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. In the fellowship hall, Mother of Twins group meets the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. and every Friday AA members meet at 7 p.m. The UMW Sewing Group meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. to do its mission projects. The annual UMW Spring Salad Luncheon will take place on May 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. Suggested donations are $6.50 for adults and $2 for children. Broadman Baptist Church Broadman Baptist Church, 350 E. Bath Road, hosts the following programs and services: On Sundays, fellowship takes place at 9:30 a.m., followed by Life Impact classes at 9:45 a.m., and worship service from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. On Wednesdays, there is a fellowship meal at 5:30 p.m., followed by worship and prayer service at 6:30 p.m., and discipleship from 7 to 8 p.m. (various age group classes). April 25 and 26 is the T. U. F. F. Man for Jesus Weekend Conference at Seneca Lake Baptist Assembly. It will begin April 25 at 6 p.m. and ends April 26 by 2 p.m. Vacation Bible School (VBS) for summer is already starting to be planned. The church will be featuring "Outrigger Island" as its theme. More information is forthcoming. First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls A big rummage sale will take place May 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls. There will be 10 rooms filled with toys and games, children's clothing, clothing for men and women, shoes, records, cassettes, videos, handbags, jewelry and accessories, housewares, books and furniture. All profits benefit the mission projects of the United Methodist Women group at the church. Because of space, organizers request that attendees not bring strollers. To contribute goods to this sale, drop them off at the church on any day during the week of April 28. Coming up at the church is an organ recital by Dr. Joseph Daniels of Detroit. The concert is May 4 in the sanctuary and all are welcome. A free will offering will be taken. Child care is available. United Presbyterian Church United Presbyterian offers two distinct styles of worship. The traditional service starts at 8:30 a.m. and the New Creation contemporary service starts at 11 a.m. The educational Hour is between the two services beginning at 9:45 a.m. with small group ministry for all ages. Child care is available on Sunday morning. Parking is available on church property. All are welcome. The U.P.C. Junior and Senior High Youth Groups will meet April 13 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the church. Bethany United Church of Christ Worship times at Bethany United Church of Christ are Sundays at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. with church school for children and adults at 9:15 a.m. The church offers many ways for adults to learn and grow in faith on Sunday mornings. They include: Bible Discoveries, which studies one of the books of the Bible; Lounge Class which discusses a variety of current faith topics; Perspectives which discusses faith issues in current films; Seasons of the Spirit which discusses the biblical themes from that Sunday's worship; Seekers which discusses a variety of contemporary faith issues; Upper Room - connects the scripture for Sunday worship with life and faith. All are welcome. It is almost time for Bethany's Annual Treasures and Bake Sale. Sale day is April 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The building is wheelchair accessible with handicapped parking. Bethany United Church of Christ is located at 1235 Broad Blvd. St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church On April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., auditions for nine separate plays will take place at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2121 Sixth St. The plays will be performed during the Medieval Liturgical Play Festival on Aug. 2.
