Robin Sondles

Age: 33

Occupation: Oriana House Inc., in Akron

How long have you lived/worked in Cuyahoga Falls? I have lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 33 years.

How would you describe the Cuyahoga Falls area to someone who has never been here? A very nice, quiet place to live and raise a family, with a lot of activities to take part in.

What is your favorite activity in Cuyahoga Falls? The festivals on the Front Street mall, the summer programs for the kids, the wading pools, and all the great parks around the area.

Hobbies/Interests: Spending time with my family and friends.

What is the last book you read? "The Notebook," by Nicholas Sparks

What would you do if you were the mayor of Cuyahoga Falls for a day? I would have a citywide "Family Day," and one Sunday a month I would close all the Cuyahoga Falls businesses, so employees who work on Sunday can enjoy their families.

What is your biggest accomplishment? Being married to my wonderful husband, Tony, for 10 years and raising my beautiful 6-year-old twin boys.

Whom do you most admire (excluding relatives)? WKDD and their staff for hosting the Children's Hospital "Have a Heart, Do Your Part" radiothon every year. This is so inspirational and moving and a great cause for all the children who are struggling with illnesses. I truly admire WKDD and Children's Hospital for putting this great event on every year. It really touches my heart.

Something most people don't know about me is ... I used to drive the Pontoon Boat for the Park and Recreation Department as my summer job.
