Don and Gail Laney of Uniontown announce the engagement of their daughter LeeAnne Laney of Akron to Jeremy Michael Bright of Cuyahoga Falls, the son of Carol Bright of Kennesaw, Ga., and Larry and Marcia Bright of Elyria.
The bride-elect graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and is attending the University of Akron.
Her fiance also graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and attended The Ohio State University. He is employed by eBlueprint in Akron.
The couple plans a May wedding at Northampton United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
