CHESTER W. RUMMELL Served in World War II Chester W. Rummell, 82, died March 18, 2008. Born in Akron, he served his country in the Army during World War II, and was a charter member of Cuyahoga Falls Church of the Nazarene, where he served as an usher and trustee. He was a member of the Northampton Historical Society and was an avid gardener. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen, daughters Virginia R. (Donald E.) Wichterman, Naomi (James) Linger, Mary (Larry) Dewey, Pamela Locke, son Frank (Suzette) Rummell, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, brothers Lester and Paul (Mary) Rummell. Visitation took place at the Redmon Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Patton conducted a service at the Cuyahoga Falls Church of the Nazarene. Interment Northampton Cemetery.
