Leah Box and Lanny Green spoke their wedding vows Aug. 4, 2007 at North Cleveland Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tenn. Bishop Larry Green Sr. presided at the rites. The bride is the daughter of Arthur Box Jr. of Cuyahoga Falls and Kimberly Johnson of Toledo. The bridegroom is the son of Larry and Rosemary Green of Flint, Mich. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless Casablanca gown, champagne in color, which was embellished with beading on its train and bodice and featured a bow in the center. She carried a bouquet of white roses and white tiger lilies. The wedding colors were yellow and blue, since together they make green, the newlyweds' last name. The matron of honor was Amy Wilkins of Cleveland, Tenn., a mutual friend. The maid of honor was Brittni Jensen of Blair, Neb., friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Hannah Bright-Johnson of Atlanta, friend of the bride; Jackie McClure of Fishers, Ind., cousin of the bride; Rebekah Franklin of Ooltewah, Tenn., friend of the bride; Lorry Green of Lansing, Mich., sister of the bridegroom; Trista Williams of Drakesboro, Ken., friend of the bride; Ellie Jones of Cleveland, Tenn., a mutual friend; Jade Hibbert of Atlanta and J'Amy Wright of Orange County, Calif., both friends of the bride. Olivia Fodor of North Canton was the flower girl. Performing the duties of best man were Lonny Green and Larry Green Jr., brothers of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Matt Hamner of Destin, Fla., friend of the bridegroom; Josh Joiner of Atlanta, friend of the bridegroom; Judson Bates of Cleveland, Tenn., friend of the bridegroom; Nicholas Box and David Box of Cuyahoga Falls, brothers of the bride; Mike Wilkins of Cleveland, Tenn., and Joe Bodarko of Fowler, Mich., both friends of the bridegroom. Trent Green and Alex Green of Flint, Mich., nephews of the bridegroom, were the ring bearers. A reception was conducted in the newlyweds' honor at the Cleveland Country Club immediately following the wedding ceremony. They spent their honeymoon in Daytona Beach, Fla. The bride is a 2004 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. She expects to graduate in May from Lee University with a degree in psychology. She is employed as a server at the Cleveland Country Club. The bridegroom graduated from St. John's High School in St. John's, Mich. He received a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Lee University in 2002 and a master's degree in church music in 2004. He is the minister of music for North Cleveland Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tenn. The newlyweds reside in Cleveland, Tenn. Comments
