Assisted living site hosts March 2 open house
Gardens of Western Reserve at Cuyahoga Falls Assisted Living Residence will host an open house on March 2 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The facility has added 26 assisted living apartments and eight memory impaired apartments.

Falls woman logs 250 hours in riding program
Leslie Labbe of Cuyahoga Falls recently earned an award for logging 250 hours in the American Quarter Horse Association Horseback Riding Program. The program recognizes and rewards AQHA members for time spent with their American Quarter Horses in activities such as trail rides, working cattle, pleasure driving and riding.
Program addresses influenza pandemic
The Hudson Library and Historical Society, 96 Library St. in Hudson, will host the program "Preparing for Influenza Pandemic" March 6 at 7 p.m. The guest speaker will be Kristi Kato of the Summit County Health District.
