by Ellin Walsh Reporter Cuyahoga Falls -- According to Superintendent Dr. Edwin S. Holland, a Cuyahoga Falls High School freshman was arrested Feb. 14 in connection with an anonymous note left in a boys' restroom two days earlier, saying someone planned to burn the building down. Holland said the student confessed to the act Feb. 14, adding, "He did it [left the anonymous note] so he could have a day off school." Holland said the teen faces disciplinary action from school officials. After high school staff discovered the note, Holland said school officials conferred with police. "It was determined to be a low-level threat," according to the superintendent, and it was decided the high school would operate on "a safe and secure mode," which limits student movement in the hallways.
