Hiring Fair set for March 6 in Kent

Employers who are hiring, whether for permanent positions or upcoming seasonal work, are invited to register to set up a table and meet a large pool of job seekers during the March 6 Hiring Fair at the Kent American Legion, 1945 Mogadore Road in Kent.

The Hiring Fair is open to any residents interested in finding new employment.

"We have a large group of dislocated workers we have worked with who have a great work ethic and are ready to return to the workforce," said Portage Workforce Connection manager Becky Porcase.

Registration information must be provided by interested employers to the Portage Workforce Connection by Feb. 22. For more information, employers can contact Porcase at 330-297-6016 or porcab@odjfs.state.oh.us.

Set up of information by the employers will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m., with the Hiring Fair open to job seekers from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
