Ohio Senate District 28 is shaping up to be an unopposed race this November.
Filing for state senator of District 28 is incumbent Democrat Thomas Sawyer of Akron, who was appointed to the position in February 2007, and Republican James Carr of Uniontown. The term begins Jan. 1, 2009. District 28 includes Tallmadge and parts of Cuyahoga Falls.
