City of Cuyahoga Falls issues scam alert

Officials are not calling residents for credit card information

The City of Cuyahoga Falls has issued a scam alert. According to a press release, the city has received complaints from residents who have been contacted by unauthorized individuals regarding their utility bills.

Residents are advised to be aware that the City of Cuyahoga Falls is not contacting city residents asking for financial, banking or credit card information. Anyone who has received a suspicious call is asked to contact the Cuyahoga Falls Police at 330-928-2181.
