Blossom Music Center nominated for national award

Blossom Music Center is one of five nominees for the Academy of Country Music's Venue of the Year award.

The nominees were announced through ACM's digital press conference on Feb. 13.

Joining Blossom as Venue of the Year nominees are: BOK Center in Tulsa, Ok.; Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, Ind.; Meadowbrook in Gilford, N.H.; and Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.

Blossom is an outdoor concert amphitheatre located at 1145 Steels Corners Road in Cuyahoga Falls.

Blossom has 5,700 seats in its pavilion and another 13,500 spaces on its lawn area.

Blossom is also the home of the Cleveland Orchestra.

The Academy of Country Music awards ceremony will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas April 7.
