Just like Woodridge High School, Cuyahoga Falls High School was also on a “Place and Secure” status on Tuesday, Jan. 22 while the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department K-9 unit conducted a routine sweep of the building and parking lot for illegal drugs, according to high school principal Anne Alfano.

“We are happy to report that no drugs were found,” said Alfano in an Alert Now phone message to district parents. “One student is receiving consequences for alcohol in the vehicle.”

Alfano added that, “approximately three cars and six lockers were searched,” and said the sweep was “part of our ongoing efforts to promote and ensure a healthy and safe drug free environment for our students.”
