Deadline extended to order Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial Commemorative Book

Published:

Due to an overwhelming response for the Bicentennial Commemorative Book, the deadline for pre-ordering the book has been extended. The book features history, culture and traditions of Cuyahoga Falls’ heritage, personal accounts from long-time residents as well as an abundance of images of the city’s past and present for the pre-order

price of $37.50 – if ordered by Feb. 28.

Targeted for Spring 2013 release, the book will also cover all the highlights from the entire Bicentennial year, which includes an event each month through

Dec. 12, 2012. Because there will be a limited number of copies printed, those interested in the book are encouraged to order it in advance. In addition, those who order now at the pre-publication price of $37.50 will receive the special Commemorative Edition plus a gift – a DVD of Cuyahoga Falls’ 150th and 175th anniversary parades. These collector books will be numbered as they are sold. The price of the book will go up to $42.50 after publication.

Order forms are available at City Hall, Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, Quirk Cultural Center, ACME #10 and #12, the Cuyahoga Falls Library and on the city’s website

at www.cityofcf.com. Complete the order form and remit with payment (check or

money order) no later than Feb. 28. Orders can be turned in to the Mayor’s Office at the City of Cuyahoga Falls, 2310 Second St., Cuyahoga
