A ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday afternoon marked the opening of a new chapter in the history of Technicote in the city of Cuyahoga Falls. After a fire in December 2011, the local manufacturer invested more than $10 million to rebuild and expand at its Marc Drive site. A 45,800-square-foot addition was unveiled, which will mean the retention of 40 jobs and the creation of 12 new full-time jobs at that location. Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don L. Robart led the ribbon-cutting festivities."I'm not sure that I could envision having this facility here one year later," Technicote President Doug O'Connell said, adding, "It's really neat to be able to celebrate the official opening of this facility."
