Cuyahoga Falls -- Police are looking for a maroon 2005 Chevy Impala with New York plates they believe may be involved in a robbery of a pizza shop, the department said on Facebook and Twitter.

Cuyahoga Falls Police responded at about 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, to a reported robbery at the Hungry Howie's Pizza in the 2400 block of State Road, according to the department's press release. It was determined a lone black male suspect entered the business brandishing a handgun, demanding money, then fled the store with an undetermined amount of money.

The three employees present at the time of the robbery were unharmed, police said. A Munroe Falls Police K-9 officer assisted the Cuyahoga Falls Police.

"Based on witness information the suspect may have left the area in a maroon Chevrolet Impala with New York plates," said Police Lt. Steve Guldeman. "The suspect is described as a male, 6-foot, thin build wearing a mask and dark clothing."

Anyone with information is requested to contact the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department Detective Bureau at 330-971-8334.
