Walsh Jesuit girls soccer team played for its sixth state final in emphatic fashion Nov. 9.
Walsh won 5-0 over Columbus St. Francis DeSales in the Division II state championship game at Columbus Crew stadium.
Walsh's margin of victory was the largest in state title game history.
Walsh was led by 2 goals from senior forward Maddie John. Walsh got individual goals from Alex Kichcart, Sandra Yu and Kennedy Payne.
Walsh also had a pair of assists from Abbey Filicko. Walsh finishes the season at 21-0-2 as it defeated the defending Division II state champions.
Walsh's six state titles puts them tops among all soccer programs, both male and female.
