Northbound, southbound Route 8 exit ramps will have lane restrictions

The State Route 8 northbound and southbound exit ramps at Howe Avenue will have various nightly lane restrictions to lengthen the exit ramps at the Route 8 and Howe Avenue interchange. This work is the beginning of a $700,000 project to increase storage capacity at the Route 8 northbound and southbound ramps at Howe Avenue. The project is scheduled to be completed by August.

Lane restrictions on Route 8 for bridge work

State Route 8 between Howe Avenue and Graham Road has various daily and nightly lane restrictions for bridge repairs. These restrictions will occur between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. This work is part of a $4.6 million project to resurface Route 8 between Howe and Graham roads, State Route 303 from east of Chittenden Road to Olde 8 and on SR 261 from just west of Route 8 to N. Main Street. The project also includes miscellaneous bridge repairs. The project is scheduled to be complete by October.
