Summer Basketball Skills Camp at the Nat -- one week only!

Fun, Fit & Float Natatorium Summer Camp

Spots are filling up so sign up today for the Fun, Fit and Float Camp at the Natatorium. Campers spend half the day on land and half the day in the water. Two weeks are offered, July 17-21 and July 24-28 from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Before and after care is available. Ages 7-12 welcome, hurry and sign up today. Learn more at FallsNat.com.

Cuyahoga Falls Strollers

The Strollers have kicked off their hiking season. They are a group of people age 50 and up who enjoy the outdoors and area parks. The remaining schedule for May includes: May 23 Bath Nature Preserve followed by lunch at Mustard Seed, May 30 Red Rock Trail followed by lunch at Winking Lizard in Penninsula.

The Strollers meet at the Quirk Cultural Center on Tuesdays at 9:15 a.m. then carpool to the designated park for their hike. It's a great way to meet new people and get exercise as well.

Action Packed Sports Agility Training at the Natatorium

Friday night agility training at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Take your speed, power and agility for all sports to the next level. Punch passes and drop in fees apply. Learn more at FallsNat.com. Last session ends June 23.

Ballroom Nights

The Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department is offering Ballroom Nights at the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave., on May 26. The event includes a light snack, music and a dance lesson provided by John and Pam Burton. Come have fun and meet new people. There will be a free lesson offered from 7:30 8 p.m., and an open dance from 8-10:30 p.m. No partner needed, only ages 16 and older are allowed. Wading pool season starts May 27

Bring the kids down to cool off this summer in one of the six supervised wading pools for ages 9 years and younger. Lions Park, Linden Park, Indian Mountain Park, Quirk Cultural Center, Valley Vista and Oak Park all have filtered, chlorinated pools to cool off in during the summer months.

These supervised pools are designed for children 9 years and younger. Swim diapers are required for diaper age children. Now open until 8 p.m. two days per week.

The 2017 schedule is:

May 27-Aug. 15:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Sunday: noon-6 p.m.

Now booking parties at the wading pools. Birthday parties, end-of-the season sports parties, family reunions, and preschool play dates. Rental time from either 9-11 a.m. or 6-8 p.m., one supervisor provided, two tables for cakes and presents. Available at Oak, Indian Mountain and Linden all for $75 for residents and $100 for non-residents. Call the Parks and Recreation Office today to book a party.
