Neighborhood Ambassador meeting slated for April 22

Published: April 16, 2017 12:00 AM

Mayor Don Walters invites Neighborhood Ambassadors and those interested in becoming Ambassadors to a meeting on April 22 from 10-11:30 a.m., in the Natatorium Erie Room, located at 2345 Fourth St. The meeting will feature speakers Valerie Kocin, Director of the Cuyahoga Falls Library, and Matt Weiss of Collide: Cuyahoga Falls who will discuss the impact their respective organizations are making in the community.

Neighborhood Ambassadors serve as a local point-person for excellence in their respective corner of the city. As the eyes and ears for their individual neighborhood, Ambassadors keep their finger on the pulse of pressing issues and concerns by promoting improvements, identifying problems, and informing neighbors about beneficial services and programs. They are also asked to collaborate with city leaders to formulate ways to improve and expand programming as the city looks toward new opportunities for collaboration within its neighborhoods.

All Neighborhood Ambassadors and those interested in becoming Ambassadors are welcome. Reserve a seat by April 18. Questions and reservations may be directed to Megan Moreland at 330-971-8227 or NeighborhoodExcellence@cityofcf.com.
